Parent Involvement

This is formed with the express purpose of developing the community and facilities at the College.

The Parent Council has an executive consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Role of executive:

manage the funds of the Parent Council
oversee the appointment of people to conduct each of the sub-committees.
oversee the operation of each of the sub-committees including receiving regular reports from each.

Parent Volunteers

Parents can register their names to assist with any of the following sub-committees.

Irene's Care

Parents join a roster for the provision of meals and transport for families in our College Community who may be suffering loss, grief or hardship.

Fundraising

Parents volunteer their time for various fund raising activities including raffles, cake stalls and barbecues.

Brighton Fair

Parents contribute to setting up and operation of stalls and equipment for the annual community fair.

Hospitality

Parents volunteer their time to assist with peak College functions e.g. Senior graduation and parent meetings where catering or serving of food required.

Parents offer their time to a number of in-school or after school projects including covering library books, assisting with sporting teams, assisting in the uniform shop, costume creation, exam supervision, transport
